The group produced by YG ENTERTAINMENT since 2015 had been revealed in the 2013 survival show «WIN: WHO IS NEXT» in Team B. However, they lost to Team A which will become the WINNER group before reappearing in 2014 in the show «MIX & MATCH» with a new trainee CHAN (Jeong ChanWoo).
The group IKON make their official debut on September 15, 2015 by releasing the title «MY TYPE», extracted from their first album unveiled on December 28, 2015: «WELCOME BACK».
