On Monday 26 October, EXO‘s CHEN started his military service.
CHEN, a member of EXO, known for his amazing voice, joined the army on Monday 26th October to perform his military service (mandatory for men between 18 and 30 years old in South Korea). As is the tradition of EXO wants, the other members came to say goodbye and the pictures of their meeting were published on the application LYSN.
Fans were surprised to see SUHO in the pictures as he is currently doing his military service.
After releasing the single “Hello” on October 15th, CHEN had announced his enlistment in a letter for his fans.
CHEN is the fourth member of EXO to enlist after XIUMIN, D.O and SUHO leaving the band with 5 active members: CHANYEOL, BAEKHYUN, KAI, SEHUN and LAY. CHEN will first receive basic training in a military camp and then he will serve as an active-duty soldier for approximately 1 year and 9 months.
