GOT7 reaches 3rd place in the “Whos Fandom Awards” for the 30th edition of « Seoul Music Awards ».
GOT7 goes up in the ranking for this year 2020 of the “Who is fandom awards” and obtains the third place out of a total of sixteen participants behind the South Korean groups of kpop BTS and MAMAMOO. After a vote for the Top 4 on December 26th, 2020 which designated the two groups that will compete for first and second place, GOT7 and the boyband EXO then clashed for third place.
GOT7 took the victory with 62.4% of the vote against 37.59% for EXO. The results were announced late in the day on December 29th via the global fandom platform K-pop Whosfan.
GOT7 thus obtains the third place, a victory celebrated by the iGOT7 the official fandom of the group. The Ahgases shared the victory via comments and posts on social media and the app. Whosfan.

An exchange and support between fandoms throughout the competition, which allowed the creation and strengthening of new friendships and to strengthen the links already present between fandoms.
The Top 3 members won an advertisement in Times Square (New York, USA) organized by the sponsor of Whos Fan. The video will be shot and produced by the fan app and officially released on December 31st, 2020 on it. A special prize-giving ceremony and a lottery for the Top 3 will be organized by the sponsor through a video.
The vote that will officially announce the group that will occupy the first place between BTS and MAMAMOO is scheduled on the Whosfan mobile application for 24 hours from December 30 to 31, 2020.
