A new girl group will debut on the kpop scene in February TRI.BE.
The result of a collaboration between Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music Group, the two companies are preparing to launch their new girl group, with plans slated to debut in February.
On January 4th, the group’s official name and logo were revealed on SNS and fan cafe.
The name, TRI.BE, is the combination of “TRI”, “triangle”, a symbol of fullness, and “BE”, meaning to exist. By putting them together, their name translates into a “perfect existence“. The name is pronounced like “try-bee” with two syllables.
A source from Shinsadong Tiger said, “The group’s members are blessed with diverse skills and talents, stunning visuals and unique charms.”

The girl group consists of 7 members, MIRE, SOEUN, JIA, HYUNBIN, JINHA, KELLY and SONGSUN.
