Today, January 25th, 2021 at midnight, BIGHIT Entertainment, the agency for BTS, announced the release of a new album.

At the start of the global pandemic, the group BTS, whose fame is now international, announced to the public that they were working on a new album, so as not to waste the time available to them during this period, which is notably a direct consequence of the cancellation of their world tour. Thus, last November 20th, 2020, marks the release of the album “BE (Deluxe edition)” whose title music is “Life goes on“.
The work that the members of the group did on this album, of which each stage of creation had been shared with the public, was quickly rewarded. Just 24 hours after the album’s release, the MV for “Life goes on” surpassed 64 million views on the YouTube platform. Also, the week after its release, the title track climbed to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 ranking. And the popularity of this album continues to increase given that on December 9th, 2020, the album is certified gold by the RIAJ (certification body of Japan) which corresponds to 100,000 sales then, on the 15th January 2021 the album is certified platinum, corresponding to a total of 250,000 sales.

From the release of the album “BE (Deluxe Edition)”, the public wondered about the fact that only one version of it existed, while the title itself suggested that a version classic of “BE” was going to see the light of day.
While this idea gradually left the spirits, the agency BIGHIT Entertainment belatedly confirms the suspicions by announcing today (January 25) at midnight the official release of the album “BE (Essential Edition)”, whose said release is set for February 19th, 2021 at 11 am.
As of yet, no information on the album’s content has been revealed. However, the exterior of the album has been shared by the agency which makes it possible to compare the two albums and to notice that no difference between the two versions, other than the thickness, is present. But, we can also see the addition of two labels that are featured on the back of the album. One represents the band’s GRAMMY nomination while the other reports that two tracks from the album reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 billboard chart.

The rest of this release and album information should be sent to us soon as pre-orders begin tomorrow, January 26th, 2021 at 2 pm.
