LEE CHANGSUB : The singer with a golden voice

LEE CHANGSUB is a member of the KPOP band BTOB and its sub-units BTOB BLUE & BTOB 4U.

LEE CHANG SUB was born on February 26th, 1991 in SUWON, South Korea. He has a younger sister called JUNG EUN. He was the second member to enlist, on January 14th, 2019, and cameback on August 21th, 2020.

THE ARTIST

LEE CHANGSUB was a trainee with IM HYUNSIK (another member of BTOB). They both got selected to study music in a prestigious school HOWON UNIVERSITY which selects, each year, only 2 male students.

Before debuting as an idol, LEE CHANGSUB already had won a DAESANG at the 16th Music Festival of SUWON, in 2008.

He debuted as an idol in BTOB in March 2012. He is also a member of the first sub-unit of the band, called BTOB BLUE, which is composed by the vocalists only, and a member of the second sub-unit of the band, called BTOB 4U, that debuted in 2020 with the successful song “Show your love“.

Talented vocalist, he also participated to few musicals, such as “BOYS OVER FLOWERS” where he was the main character, GO JUN-PYO.

He participated to several singing shows, including “King of masked singer“. Amazing singer, there is no style he cannot sing. In 2020, he made a comic duet with his friend SEO EUNKWANG, leader of BTOB, in which they sing a trot song. With a lot of fun, they also show here that they master the trot genre too.

CAREER

LEE CHANGSUB debuted as a solo singer in 2017 with his album “BPM 82.5“, released in Japan. The track-title was “At the end“, which is also on the album “PIECE OF BTOB“.

His first korean solo album is “MARK“, with the title-track “Gone“. He considers this album as a gift for his fans before his enlistment.

LEE CHANGSUB, aside of being a incredible singer, also participated to the creation of several BTOB songs, such as “Killing me“, “Last day” & “Melody“.

THE MAN

LEE CHANGSUB is a generous and funny man who enjoys taking weird poses on pictures. He estimates that the weird side of BTOB is also what makes the group special. Gifted of an amazing voice, he’s the one kind of man that works hard to reach his expectations, even if it take days. He is a heavy sleeper and sleeps a lot, including between performances, which, sometimes, brings some problems with his voice.

He has a special friendship with YOOK SUNGJAE, youngest member of BTOB, who he hugs often, when they don’t kindly fight on the backstage to know who sings the loudest, as we can see in several BEATCOMS on the official Youtube channel of the band.

Very protective and careful, LEE CHANGSUB also loves children. He likes to hug them a lot when he sees any. He has a very expressive face, making it easy when you want to know what he thinks.

LEE CHANGSUB is a talented man who’s not afraid of being ridiculous. Singer with a unique voice, he has a lot of humour and puts all his heart in whatever he does. Close to the members, he considers BTOB as a family. Before they started enlisting, he announced that the members wouldn’t leave altogether at the same time, explaining that, even if the fans would have to wait longer, BTOB is a family and SHIN PENIEL, american citizen who has no military duty, would never be left alone.

He’s having a special friendship with YOOK SUNGJAE and CHORONG (from APINK). Also, he enjoys the band GFRIEND he likes to cheer up for. Always encouraging his friends, he also went to JUNG ILHOON‘s solo concert, (another member of BTOB), where he ended up singing with him on the song “She’s gone“, title-song of the album “BIG WAVE” of JUNG ILHOON.
