The name of ROSE‘s debut solo album from BLACKPINK has been released. Taking the first letter of her name, meaning “a new start as a solo artist”.

YG Entertainment posted a poster teaser for ROSE‘s debut solo single “R” on its official blog on March 4th. The photo with a neat and sober atmosphere is attractive.
In particular, ROSE, lying alone in a purple space, looking at the camera, catches the eye. The empty space above her, as if escaping as far as the eye could see, created a dreamlike atmosphere and raised questions about the stories this single might contain.
The detailed music release schedule has also been released, catching the attention of music fans around the world waiting for ROSE’s new song. According to YG Entertainment, the single “R” will be released at 12:00 am in the US and 2:00 pm KST on March 12th.
We can expect there to be a big reaction as it has already been confirmed with the explosive response from fans around the world with just one short teaser.
ROSE first unveiled the song “subtitle” from the solo album “GONE” at BLACKPINK’s live concert “THE SHOW” on January 31st, garnering an enthusiastic response from fans.
The teaser video for the song (ROSE – COMING SOON TEASER) currently reaches 50 million views on YouTube. Even though this is a short 33-second video, the number of frames this high is very unusual. This gave insight into the high expectations music fans have for ROSE’s solo song.
