WHEESUNG
Singer WHEESUNG has been sentenced to probation for habitual administration of propofol.
On the afternoon of March 9th, a sentencing hearing was held at Andong Jiwon’s Criminal Division 2 of the Daegu District Court for WHEESUNG, who was accused of breaking the law on drug control. WHEESUNG was accused of taking propofol on multiple occasions with voice trainer Jeon in December 2019.
The court sentenced WHEESUNG to one year in prison and two years probation.
WHEESUNG was charged, without detention, in August last year for administering propofol, a psychotropic sleep anesthetic, in 2019. At that time, Gyeongbuk Provincial Police suspected WHEESUNG of purchasing drug. propofol and sent it to the prosecution in April of last year.
WHEESUNG was also investigated by police in March last year after he was found lying down after taking another sleeping anesthetic, in a bathroom in a building in Songpa-gu, Seoul. .
