The music video for BTS‘s hit song “Dynamite” has surpassed one billion views in about eight months.
Big Hit Music, the group’s agency, said the number of views on YouTube of the music video for “Dynamite” exceeded 1 billion views as of 5:46 pm on April 12th.
The music video for “Dynamite,” released on August 21st of last year, reached 100 million views in about 24 hours and 30 minutes, the fastest among BTS’ clips.
After registering 900 million views on the 10th of last month, it has been steadily increasing and the number of views adding an additional 100 million views in about a month.
“Dynamite” music video is BTS‘ third music video with over 1 billion views, after “DNA“, which topped 1.2 billion views, and “Boy with luv” with 1.1 billion views .
The track became the first Korean song to reach the top of the main US Billboard charts, “Hot 100”.
