ITZY will present two ambivalent concepts through its new album.
On April 14th at midnight, ITZY posted a group photo teaser “GUESS WHO” on its official SNS, followed by a photo with a new concept at noon the same day.
The new group teaser created a different feeling than the previously unveiled image, showing off a wild and outspoken charm. The five members piqued the curiosity of those watching, with posh and arrogant looks as if they were hiding something, in a room with lots of colorful accessories such as picture collages, a large bed, a turntable and a Teddy bear.
In particular, the new upcoming release revealed two contrasting concepts, “NIGHT” and “DAY”, signaling that the new opus will be a dramatic work.
The new album “GUESS WHO” with the title track “마.피.아. (Mafia) In the morning” which is a title song written, composed and arranged by JYP Entertainment Chief Producer Park Jin Young. 5 other tracks “Sorry not sorry“, “Kidding me“, “Wild wild west“, “Shoot!” and “Tennis (0:0)” made by fantastic production teams.
ITZY’s new album and title track “마.피.아. (Mafia) In the morning” will be released simultaneously worldwide on April 30th at midnight in the eastern United States and at 1 pm in South Korea.
