APINK - KIM NAMJOO
KIM NAMJOO, singer, dancer and rapper from girl group APINK, born April 15th, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea, turns 26 today.
Before making her debut with APINK, she starred in a commercial in 2007 at age 13.
KIM NAMJOO joined Cube Entertainment at the 2010 “Cube Stars Party” auditions and was one of the last members of APINK to be featured prior to the group’s debut. She is also one of the two members of the “BnN” subunit of APINK with YOON BOMI.
KIM NAMJOO, alongside JUNG EUNJI and BEAST’s former member Jang Hyunseung, released the single “A year ago” from the project “A Cube For Season #White” on January 3rd, 2013 to commemorate the success of their respective bands. In 2014, she performed “Seoul lonely” with the group PHANTOM on several musical programs. On June 2nd, 2015, she released a collaboration with BTOB’s Yook Sungjae called “Photograph”, as part of Cube Entertainment’s “A Cube For Season #Blue Season 2” project.
In September 2015, she was chosen for the web drama “Investigator alice“, released in October 2015, where she played Detective Chun Yeonjoo. Between 2017 and 2018, she starred as Detective Oh JinKyung in Naver TV’s web drama “Bad boy detectives“, again collaborating with the “Investigator alice” team. In October 2017, she was chosen to play the lead role of “Juliet” in the Sungkyunkwan University production of “Romeo and Juliet“.
On February 14th, 2019, KIM NAMJOO launched his own fashion line, “Sugar Please”.
On September 7th, 2020, she made her solo debut with her debut album “BIRD“.
Since then she has also opened her own YouTube channel where she mainly posts mukbangs.
KIM NAMJOO is a person who is far from being shy and who is considered as the vitamin of her group, always smiling and who doesn’t hesitate to imitate the people around her. The ideal type of NAMJOO is a man without a double eyelid and who has a good facial expression. Someone who is pure and innocent but also sexy.
