THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ members keep on being inspired by “Game of Thrones” to prepare their performances.
For this new stage on TV show “KINGDOM: Legendary War”, the six groups had to pick a song from another team and make it re-born to create a unique performance. THE BOYZ selected SF9′ song “O Sole Mio” which is a track with grate melody and latino vibes. Thanks to this choice, THE BOYZ was able to keep its story based on “Game of Thrones” by portraying the Red Wedding, a bloody scene, that is why the group called its performance “O Sole Mio (The Red Wedding)”.
From the beginning of the performance, the group was able to invite us in this classy and royal wedding which seemed to be calm before the massacre. THE BOYZ and ten dancers created a realistic and elegant stage while performing difficult moves with a perfect timing. They showed a great teamwork with a synchronized choreography that shows THE BOYZ hard work. Moreover, there are classy outfits, accessories, great visual effects, different spaces on stage and also a great camera work that makes us captivated. There are also shots from a high stage, the use of real fire and also visual effects to create black shadows consuming the heros’ love to help the storyline and also make people impressed.
The ending is also a reference to “Game of Thrones” since the bridegroom, JUYEON, is sad and desperate because of his lover’s death and the members can be seen shooting arrows to the huge sun, making it disappear. After that, the scene becomes blue, sad and freezing as a full moon rises in the background, making us think that it is a hint to THE BOYZ next performance. The group was able to make us anticipat the next stage by adding a little bit of suspens and keeping a sotryline, making us more than excited to seen what is coming.
