Eleven members from THE BOYZ successfully ended their three week promotion and broke their own records.
Members from THE BOYZ spent almost one month promoting with title-song “THRILL RIDE” which helped people spending a cool and bright summer. The theme of a thrilling ride has been introduced by teasers and photos at the beginning of August and a few elements reminding a ride could also be seen in the choreography. Then, the MV release made people think that this new song was the perfect one to spend a cool and joyful summer. The members did not have difficulties dancing to this song since they just had to be themselves on stage: they all are energetic and joyful young men on a daily basis.
Moreover, each performance was unique and a new discovery. THE BOYZ succeeded on surprising the fans for each of them since each stage was a little bit different from another one: members of the group could change details from the choreography and the outfits and hairstyles were also changing a lot. The colorful and theme-based outfits created expectations and surprised many fans who could not wait to see the members’ next look.
With a total of five wins on music shows, THE BOYZ broke its own records. For latest title-song, “The Stealer”, the group won many trophies, but that is thanks to the group’s participation in show “Kingdom: Legendary War” that a lot more people joinded the fandom. Then, this success leaded to winning five times on music shows with “THRILL RIDE”.
For “THRILL RIDE”‘s last stage, the members thanked their fans whenever they could by sending hearts, smiling a lot and even showing a huge heart drawn on a pizza box that the maknae, ERIC, showed at the very end of the performance. For this last stage, which took place at Inkigayo, each member was wearing a different outfit from the others, as if they were all working in a hotel, which is a theme that could be seen in “THRILL RIDE”‘s MV. THE BOYZ successfully ended its latest mini album’s promotion and explained on a V LIVE that this short promotion is due to something that is yet to be known. Let’s anticipate THE BOYZ next activities.
