QUEENDOM 2: Fans make predictions

Mnet’s “Queendom 2” will be back. Mnet plans to release “Queendom 2” next year. The timing and details of the release are still undecided.

“Queendom“, a survival type program for the comeback of a female group/artist, which caused a sensation from its debut in 2019. PARK BOM, AOA, MAMAMOO, LOVELYZ, OH MY GIRL and (G) I-DLE are actually noticed for showing new charms and a passion that had never been displayed before. And although there were several controversies over the money used for performances or the votes for the final, the program ended successfully. As a result, “Kingdom”, the boy group version of “QUEEDOM”, aired last year, attracting considerable attention.

With the announcement of “Queendom 2“, the focus is on which new girl group will impress audiences. And the first to think about it are the fans of course.

So what do fans think on social media, who will be the successors of (G) I-DLE, the big winners of Season 1?

In itself, many names circulate, like those of APINK, COSMIC GIRLS, ROCKET PUNCH and even still KEP1ER which will soon make its debut.

The names that come up the most to succeed OH MY GIRL and LOVELYZ, would be DREAMCACHER, LOONA, WEKI MEKI or FROMIS_9 which each have their own styles and which could amaze us with new concepts.

If there should be another soloist, very quickly the name of CHUNGHA is voiced, but followed pretty soon by the artists KWON EUN BI and other ex-members of IZ*ONE who have made or will make their debuts.

As for MAMAMOO, the show’s flagship group, fans would love to see a group like ITZY. While ITZY don’t need this highlighting, fans are talking about the relationship between JYP Entertainment and MNET, as was the case with STRAY KIDS with their appearance in Kingdom.

As for replacing the group of the previous generation, which was brought by AOA, the fans thought of T-ARA which made a noticeable comeback recently, but also of VIVIZ made up of 3 former members of GFRIEND.

Finally to bring the dynamism of (G) I-DLE, it is the name of STAYC which is the most cited, because the group has gained popularity very quickly and brings a fresh and new concept within the groups of girls.
