Boy group OMEGA X member HYUK will be taking on an acting idol in his own right.
According to his agency Spire Entertainment on April 9, HYUK confirmed his appearance in the web drama “Bad Girlfriend.”
“Bad Girlfriend” is a double office romance that portrays Jisoo, a career woman, who finds herself in a double relationship relationship, working at the same company as her two boyfriends overnight.
In “Bad Girlfriend,” HYUK plays Moon Jiho, a young man who is a freelance designer and shows his loving and optimistic energy after falling in love with Jisoo having met him frequently.
In particular, as HYUK is trying out solo acting for the first time, he is expected to meet worldwide fans as a versatile artist in the future, signaling acting activities by establishing himself as a “actor/singer idol” through this work.
Earlier, OMEGA X, which includes HYUK, recently made a comeback with its second mini album “LOVE ME LIKE” and proved their “world rookie” looks by surpassing 16 million views in its music video. On top of that, her own sales record was broken in just four days after her return, showing tremendous growth.
The web drama “Bad Girlfriend,” which HYUK has been confirmed to cast, is scheduled to air in the middle of this year.
