AB6IX has successfully completed a fan showcase to commemorate the release of their new album.
AB6IX held a fan showcase to commemorate the release of their fifth EP album “A to B” at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul at 8 p.m. KST on May 18. It was streamed live through the UNIVERSE app and joined ABNEW (official fan club name) worldwide.
Under the direction of MC Park So-hyun, AB6IX opened the show with the scene of “우리가 헤어졌던 이유” the third track from the album and LEE DAE HWI‘s own song. After performing to cheers from fans for the first time in a long time, the members expressed their feelings about making a comeback about eight months after the release of their second album “MO’ COMPLETE.” JEONG WOONG said, “The musical change is the biggest thing compared to the previous album. If you listen to the song, you will feel it,” he said confidently.
Additionally, the members unboxed two versions of the real album and showcased the components that fans were interested in, such as photo books with warm visuals, double-sided and single-sided photo cards, and posters. The band then listened to the medley of the various tracks and presented the songs, along with their critique of the work and the backstage recording.
Regarding the performance of “Savior,” which met fans’ expectations to the max, PARK WOO JIN said,
“As we came back with strong upbeat music, I really paid a lot of attention to the choreography. Sensuality and intensity have been enhanced,”
he confessed. LEE DAE HWI admired the song “Parachute” which PARK WOO JIN participated in as a solo lyricist, saying, “I thought it was written by a lyricist with 15 years of experience just by looking at the songs. words.“
In the following section, the members honestly revealed their early and current changes through tags such as visuals, hobbies, nicknames, and ABNEW, giving them warm smiles. Since then, the highlight moment, “너는 나의 기적: MY SAVIOR AB6IX,” took place in a warm atmosphere with KIM DONG HYUN’s sweet self-composed song “We could love.” The members directly presented special stories sent by fans and accumulated another unforgettable memory with ABNEW.
AB6IX said, “It was a happier time to be with our fans. We feel so happy and energized by your encouragement. With the support, we will do our best in this business.” Finally, the group performed the title track “Savior” for the first time and ended the showcase full of excitement.
AB6IX will begin full-fledged promotional activities starting with KBS2’s “Music Bank” at 5 p.m. on May 20.
