RAVI
RAVI (Kim Won Sik, 30) of the group VIXX is suspected of being involved in bribery for military service on January 12.

RAVI’s agency, Groovl1n, issued a press release the same day and said, “We are closely seizing relevant information after hearing the report,” adding, “We will investigate if there is a request.”
Earlier today, Korean media reported that a group of brokers claimed that a rapper from a famous idol group was exempted from military service through them while promoting their service.
Suspicions arose that the rapper, RAVI, dropped out of a TV entertainment program in May last year due to his enlistment, and returned in September of the same year and enlisted as a social worker in October.
The agency said, “As it is related to national defense duty, we will explain it in detail after we have all the elements in hand.”
This corruption would concern several rappers, but also sportsmen, who would have been either exempted or directed to social military service rather than as an active soldier.
An investigation will be opened, if this proves to be correct the persons concerned may risk up to imprisonment.
