ATEEZ: New year, new soundtrack for JONGHO
JONGHO, the lead vocal of ATEEZ, sings the soundtrack of tvN’s new drama « 청춘월담 (Our blooming youth) ».
On the morning of February 15, KQ Entertainment announced:
« ATEEZ‘s JONGHO has been selected as the lead singer for the soundtrack « Wind » of the tvN drama « 청춘월담 (Our blooming youth) », which has aired since February 6 on Mondays and Tuesdays. »
« 청춘월담 (Our blooming youth) » (directed by Lee Jong Jae and Kim Jung Wook, scripted by Jung Hyun Jeong) is a youth romance that tells the story of Crown Prince Lee Hwan (Park Hyung Sik), who is under a mysterious curse, and of Min Jae Yi (Jeon So Ni), a girl accused overnight of killing a family.
The soundtrack « Wind » sung by JONGHO creates a calm atmosphere encouraging one to confess feelings thanks to the combination of a warm melody played on the piano and JONGHO’s soft voice. Moreover, JONGHO‘s delicate voice portrays the dramatic narrative of the characters.
Unveiled at the end of Episode 4 of « 청춘월담 (Our blooming youth) », JONGHO‘s « Wind » has captivated viewers even with a short extract.
Previously, as an ATEEZ member, JONGHO participated in the Netflix anime soundtrack « Lookism » called « Like that », in the Japanese anime soundtrack « Dual Masters WIN » called « Limitless », and even more. Alone, JONGHO participated in the soundtrack of the variety show « 청춘MT (Young Actors’ Retreat ) » called « A fairy tale of youth », and in the soundtrack of the JTBC drama « 재벌집 막내아들 (Reborn rich) » called « Gravity ». Therefore, the announcement of this first soundtrack for 2023 set off many positive reactions and expectations for future activities.
Finally, the group ATEEZ, to which JONGHO belongs, will continue its European tour at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, today, February 15.
