Singer and actor ONG SEONG WU will join the army.
ONG SEONG WU will enter the boot camp on April 17 and begin his military service as an active member of the army after receiving basic military training. Fantagio’s agency said, “ONG SEONG WU‘s entrance ceremony is private and does not hold a separate official event. Please refrain from visiting the venue to minimize congestion at the site.“
Earlier on April 14, ONG SEONG WU also greeted his fans during a live broadcast. ONG SEONG WU said, “Looking at my short hair, I think my spirit is getting stronger and I feel determined,” adding, “I will do a great job as much as you have trusted me so far. I’m going to enjoy it and come back cool, reliable and stronger. Don’t stray too far, I’ll be right back.”
ONG SEONG WU debuted in the music industry as a member of project group WANNA ONE through Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101” season 2 in 2017. Since then, he has developed his abilities not only by as a singer but also as an actor. ONG SEONG WU has received favorable reviews for his new acting through dramas such as “At eighteen” and “More than friends.”
