SM NEW BOY BAND: A new face that could be in the new group
It is said that LEE CHAN YOUNG, the son of composer and producer Yoon Sang (real name Lee Yoon Sang), will make his idol debut.
On July 18, news outlet Sports Chosun reported, “Yoon Sang’s first son LEE CHAN YOUNG is one of the members of SM Entertainment’s new boy group, which will debut in September.”
Born in 2003, LEE CHAN YOUNG made his face known by appearing on the SBS entertainment show “Single Wife 2” in 2018. Yoon Sang said, “My first son said, ‘I want to make music like my dad, “I’m good at making songs for a high school kid,” on an entertainment show.
The boy group that SM Entertainment will unveil in September is a seven-member group, featuring SUNG CHAN and SHOTARO, who were active in NCT, and EUN SEOK and SEUNG HWAN, who were in “SM Rookies.” The other members will be announced later.
