G-DRAGON (Kwon Jiyong, 35), from the group BIG BANG, was charged with drug use.
News1 reported on October 25 that the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency arrested G-DRAGON without detention for violating the Narcotics Control Law.
It is reported that the police specified G-DRAGON and conducted an investigation, which they are pursuing after criminal charges. Some people said that this investigation was about a singer with a famous husband, but it turned out that this was not true.
G-DRAGON‘s alleged drug use was sparked by a series of reports that celebrities were taking drugs at an idol-only entertainment establishment in Gangnam, also known as “TenPro (텐프로)” . After the investigation revealed that actor Lee Sun Gyun allegedly took drugs, G-DRAGON seems to have been concerned. However, the police refused to say more:

G-DRAGON was accused of smoking cannabis in Japan in May 2011, while he was active in the group BIG BANG.
