SEVENTEEN dazzles fans with a special gift, a captivating performance of “Diamond days“, all while setting remarkable records.

SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) recently bestowed upon its fans an unexpected gift.
On November 12th, on its official social media channels, the group released a special video of the song “Diamond days” from its eleventh mini-album titled “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“. “Diamond days” is a reinterpretation of the song “Shining diamond“, which is a track from its debut album “17 CARAT“, representing SEVENTEEN‘s impressive journey over the past eight years since its debut.
The special video, featuring a diamond-shaped stage setup, with small videos from the group’s debut playing on scattered LED screens, captivated viewers. “Diamond Days“, being a song dedicated to the CARATs (its fandom) who have walked with SEVENTEEN throughout these many years, added an extra dose of excitement by presenting, for the first time, a live performance of this beloved song since its release.
Following the release of “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN“, SEVENTEEN set an impressive record by surpassing 5 million copies sold in a week, becoming the first artist to achieve this feat. The album immediately soared to the top of all-time K-pop album sales charts. The title track, “음악의 신” (“God Of Music”), became a mega-hit, being the first song from a K-pop boy group to reach the top of the “Melon TOP100” this year, marking a turning point in K-pop history.
Additionally, on November 14th, at 7:30 PM (local time, November 15th, 3:30 AM in Korean time), SEVENTEEN will perform at UNESCO in Paris during the “13th UNESCO Youth Forum” as representatives of the “world youth generation”. For about an hour, it will hold a special session including a speech and performance, sharing its personal experiences to show the role that youth can play for sustainable development, acting as messengers of hope for the global youth.
