Singer-songwriter GRIZZLY reinterprets “와줘..” with trendy sensibility.
GRIZZLY will release a “remake single” of SE7EN’s signature song “와줘..” on online music sites at 6 p.m. KST today.
“와줘..” is Se7en’s first song, released in 2003. At the time of its release, it gained sensational popularity, topping MBC’s “Music Camp” for five consecutive weeks with the performance of the Heellys (sneakers with a roulette), elevating Se7en to stardom.
The remake single “와줘..” maintains the groovy sound of the original song, adding a rhythmic arrangement and GRIZZLY’s emotional and unique vocals, foreshadowing the birth of another masterpiece.
GRIZZLY said: “I was able to recall my childhood memories with this one song. I have a clear memory of bothering my mother because I wanted to have Heelys. I am truly honored and grateful to do the masterpiece that I loved.”
GRIZZLY’s “와줘..” is a single that was created through a remake project by Mun Hwa In, Ltd. The agency has already revealed Lim Hyun Jjung’s “사랑은 봄비처럼…이별은 겨울비처럼...”, which was previously reinterpreted by Shin Jihoon. Mun Hwa In, Ltd. plans to develop empathy between generations through this project, in which juniors remake songs by senior singer-songwriters.
GRIZZLY, who sings “와줘..” is a singer-songwriter who is gaining attention for his unique music such as “Beige coat“, “Will you remember this even if we fight?” and “We make eye contact, hold hands, try not to hurt each other with a low voice and a nice speech ●” and “He’s a friend.” After releasing the EP album “꽃zip3” in September this year, he actively engaged in music, holding a solo performance “Grizzly Concert: Autumn House” in October.
GRIZZLY will release “와줘..”, alongside the music release, the live music video will also be released on the official YouTube channel.
