Today, December 11, the US BILLBOARD chart announced that ATEEZ‘s new album debuted at first place on the famous “BILLBOARD 200“.
After two wins for “Crazy form” on South Korean music shows, ATEEZ reached the number-one spot on the US “BILLBOARD 200” chart. This is a first for the group who reached second place with the mini-album “THE WORLD EP 2: OUTLAW“, and third place with “THE WORLD EP.1: MOVEMENT“. Thus, the series “THE WORLD” alone reached the top 3 of the BILLBOARD ranking. In addition, this new album is the only one in the ranking to debut, placing itself alongside renowned American artists like TAYLOR SWIFT and DRAKE who occupy the top 3 of the ranking.
ATEEZ‘s second full album “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL“, which was released for the first time in 4 years since the first full album in 2019, attracted attention even before its release with 12 tracks of various genres, but also for the appearance of first solo songs. After its release, it sold more than 1.7 million copies, reaching second place on the British Official Albums Chart Top 100. Thus, ATEEZ became the third K-pop group to have ranked at the top of the British chart after BTS and BLACKPINK and is thus the only group of the fourth generation to debut at second place. With these new records, the latest album in the series “THE WORLD” already exceeds those established by the previous album showing the growing popularity of the group around the world, particularly with a release planned for the end of the year.

Finally, ATEEZ will appear in the “2023 MUSIC BANK GLOBAL FESTIVAL”, which will be broadcast on KBS 2TV at 8:30 p.m. on December 15.
