(G)I-DLE’s YUQI will have a collaboration with world-renowned producer Alan Walker and American pop star JVKE.
According to agency Cube Entertainment, the collaboration single “Fire!” which combines YUQI of (G)I-DLE, Allen Walker and JVKE, will be released today at 7 p.m. KST on various music sites such as Spotify, Melon, Genie and YouTube Music.
“Fire!” is a song about burning love that burns like gasoline. It contains a contradictory feeling between lovers, excited by the fascinating temptation surrounding love and hoping that love will not harm each other.
YUQI will add a dreamy and solid tone to Allen Walker’s unique electronic music and JVKE’s charming vocals, increasing listeners’ immersion.
Additionally, YUQI attracted attention by releasing the covr video of JVKE’s “Ghost town” on September 23 via (G)I-DLE’s official YouTube channel, making fans around the world even more excited about the source collaboration sound with JVKE.
Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE, which includes YUQI, ranked 25th on the “Billboard 200” with its debut US EP album “HEAT” released on October 6, reaching a “Career high”, proving the potential as global artists.
The group also won the hearts of fans around the world by completing the “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour” (hereinafter referred to as the “Jingle Ball Tour”) with the final performance in Philadelphia on the 13th (local time).
