As BLACKPINK’s ROSE released photos taken in the recording studio, speculation continues that she is preparing for her solo career.
On January 11, ROSE posted a photo taken in a recording studio without any comments on her SNS.
In the published photo, a machine at the recording studio bore the phrase “ROSIE” meaning pink. This led to speculation that she was recording to prepare for her new album.
Previously, BLACKPINK, which includes ROSE, only signed a contract with YG Entertainment regarding group activities. YG Entertainment stated, “We have signed an extension contract for BLACKPINK’s group activities and have agreed not to enter into additional contracts for individual activities.“
In October last year, some media outlets published a photo of ROSE eating with the CEO of Columbia Records, which includes Adèle and Beyoncé, and rumors circulated that she might sign with Columbia Records.
JENNIE and her mother founded an individual Rave Odd Atelier, and JISOO will start a new business under the name “Blisoo” with Bio Mom, a functional food brand for children’s health represented by her brother, and will be in charge of its entertainment business. LISA’s move has not yet been disclosed in detail.
