New boy group POW has announced a special comeback.
POW, JUNGBIN, YORCH, HYUNBIN, DONGYEON and HONG, will release their new single “VALENTINE” on January 25 on various online music sites.
A poster image of the program containing the unique name was released on POW’s official SNS on January 15 at midnight. “VALENTINE,” meaning “Dear,” is a British garage-style song with a lively, unique sensibility with POW’s narrative. Previously, teaser images and Twitter banners using animated characters were released, raising expectations for POW’s unique sensibility. In particular, the appearance of personalities transformed into characters arouses curiosity.
According to the plan poster, POW will release various teaser contents, including two concept teasers, four teasers and three concept photos, before the release of the single. Ahead of the music’s official release at 6 p.m. KST on January 25, the music video will be pre-released at midnight KST on the same day, raising the comeback fever to a fever pitch.
Last year, POW had a successful career at home and abroad with its first official EP album track “DAZZLING” following their pre-debut single “FAVORITE”. POW’s original concept of “European youth culture” received love and attention from global K-pop fans, and the music video shot on European locations also printed sultry visuals and musical colors.
