Singer ALEXA reunited with pop star Kelly Clarkson, sharing various stories and releasing a new song as a surprise.

ALEXA appeared on NBC’s “The Kelly Clarkson Show” which aired on January 17 (local time). ALEXA won the “American Song Contest (ASC)” in May last year and spoke about change and K-pop. She notably published a performance video of her new song which will be released in the United States.
ALEXA met Kelly Clarkson again about a year and eight months after she appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” right after winning the title at the ASC in May of last year. ALEXA, who wore a simple brown tee with black long boots and a mini skirt, accentuated the look with a unique fur necklace and hat. Kelly Clarkson welcomed ALEXA and admired her style.
ALEXA, who was hosted by Kelly Clarkson, shared her feelings and news about returning to Korea after “ASC”, and also talked about how K-pop is loved around the world. ALEXA humorously said: “In the US, all the stores close quickly while there are cafes open 24/7, which is impressive”, and she also recommended the kimchi at Kelly Clarkson.
ALEXA notably gained attention by releasing a video for the title track “Sick” and the album’s performance, which will be released in the United States. In the video, ALEXA, who dressed all in black, from boots to skirt, top and leather jacket, sang her new song “Sick” during a performance with a band.
ALEXA’s voice, which stacks “the emotions of loving someone” from the calmly recited introduction to the emotional second half, showed off its powerful and addictive melody, raising expectations for its official release. ALEXA filled “Sick” with English lyrics to connect with more foreign fans.
ALEXA was on stage at the “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour“, the largest holiday festival in the United States, held in Dallas and Miami in November and December last year. ALEXA, who opened the new year in style with the “Kelly Clarkson Show“, will release a new song in the United States in February and will continue her activities by organizing a tour in six American cities starting at the end of March.
