LUN8 attended the opening ceremony of the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Games held on January 19 at the Gangneung Speed Skating Stadium and presented a celebration scene.
The 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon Province is a global youth sports competition organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This year is the largest participation in the Winter Youth Olympic Games in history and the first in Asia. LUN8 was the only K-pop boy group to be officially invited as a performer at the Gangneung opening ceremony, attracting worldwide attention.
That day, LUN8, who raised the temperature of the stage with the performance of “Playground” with the unit “LUN8wave” composed of TAKUMA, JUNWOO, DOHYEON, JI EUNHO and EUN SEOP, delivered strong energy to the viewers by performing on a stage full of passion and spirit with the title song from their debut album, “WILD HEART“.
