TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon and Kyungmin) released a performance music video for the title track of its debut album, “SPARKLING BLUE“, on Hybe Labels’ YouTube channel at 6 p.m. KST on January 29.
While the official music video, released around the time of the album’s release on January 22, depicts the excitement and tension of the members about to go to school through organic narration, the performance music video focused on the choreography of TWS.
The performance music video “첫 만남은 계획대로 되지 않아” grabs attention from the start with DOHOON’s introduction of a break dance that rotates its legs 360 degrees with the limbs dancing under the sunny sky. Additionally, the three-dimensional performance encompasses a refreshing and powerful charm and witty choreography using lyrics is impressive. The video for “Performance Masterpiece” was complemented by the combination of large-scale flashy changes, movements embodying lyrics, and various facial expressions of the six members.
Fans around the world are also praising TWS’s performance. “The dance is beautiful and the composition is legendary. Since its debut on January 22, TWS has made a worthy decision for the “Best Anticipated K-Pop Stock of the Year”, attracting the attention of fans around the world. “SPARKLING BLUE” was ranked in the top 10 (8th) of K-pop groups’ debut album (one week of record sales based on release date/hanteo chart), and less than a week after the song title “첫만남은계획대로되지않아” released, was ranked in the real-time ranking of Melon’s “TOP 100” (first entry on the 28th).
