All of UNICODE’s Japanese girl groups shed tears as they revealed their inner feelings during the daily post.

On the 29th of last month, the second episode of Unicode: ON&OFF was released on the ALL THE K-POP YouTube channel.
That day, Unicode: ON&OFF described the daily life of UNICODE members. First, the members visited a boutique for a hair and makeup test, and after the session, they took some photos for fans around the world with more beautiful and brighter visuals.
The members, who left their hometown to fulfill their dreams of becoming idols, then enjoyed their daily lives in Korea and had a rest. One said, “Honestly, there were a lot of tough times. I didn’t have much time to rest,” and the members also revealed what they wanted to do during their breaks , such as shopping, going to restaurants and cafes.
After finishing their respective schedules, members SOOAH and YURA shared their feelings over a meal with the production team. SOOAH and YURA, who shed tears as they recalled their difficult days, said: “Our first project was initially going to disappear. We asked the CEO to make our debut. We want to go all the way,” and their desperation touched the hearts of viewers.
Their desperation earned them the gift of confirming their debuts. SOOAH and YURA gathered other members in person for their debut and eventually, a five-member girl group named UNICODE was formed. “I’m afraid my debut will fail again, but I’m so happy right now,” YURA said, unable to stop crying.
UNICODE is a five-member girl group that includes members selected from ABEMA TV’s biggest online audition in Japan, Project K, in April 2023, and will debut in Korea later.
