Today, May 31, ATEEZ released its mini album “GOLDEN HOUR: PART. 1” and the music video of “Work”.
After a very prepared promotion, the music video of “Work” was released this May 31 at 1 p.m. KST on the ATEEZ YouTube channel. The latter perfectly expresses the energy of ATEEZ and the atmosphere of “Work”. Indeed, with a groovy rhythm, this title track means moving forward without stopping and doing everything to achieve your dreams.
The music video was shot in Los Angeles during Coachella giving a colourful and fresh image of ATEEZ. The members (HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG, JONGHO) particularly worked on their facial expressions and attitudes to give a unique and eccentric music video. The latter attracted ATINY’s (fandom name) attention by offering various unexpected scenes.
For example, we can find JONGHO playing instruments buried in the ground, YUNHO cooking hamburgers filled with bills or even SEONGHWA “driving” an ostrich. In addition, the hip-hop-based choreography and the numerous Spanish lyrics attract particular attention and once again prove the multiple talents of ATEEZ members.
This new mini album is made up of six tracks: the intro “Golden hour“, the title song “Work“, “Blind” which will make you dance all summer long, “Empty box” which is a lyrical ballad expressing the feelings linked to a new beginning, “Shaboom” which is inspired by EDM and reggae to give a unique song, and “Siren” which will mark you with its deep and powerful instrumental.
Finally, ATEEZ will begin its promotional activities by performing at “Music Bank” on KBS2TV this May 31.
