Impacts, a seven-member group formerly owned by Janice, left Janice and joined her new agency, TOBE, under a new name, “IMP.” Titled “DEPARTURE”, the first full album is released today on all national music sites.

IMP.’s album, which debuted on August 18, 2023 with the digital single “CRUISIN”, will be released in three formats: limited edition A and B and standard edition. Each limited edition will include 12 tracks with songs ranked second on Billboard’s Japan Hot, including debut songs “Cruisin”, “IMP”, “Switching”, “I got it” and the English track “Flow”. Specifically, the standard edition will feature 15 tracks, including single tracks that can only be heard on CD.
The title song, “Ninnin jack“, is a hip-hop song that expresses Japanese emotions in English lyrics. The music video was released on YouTube with language subtitles from different countries, which received very good feedback from foreign fans.
So far, the group has released five digital songs and its first single “CRUISIN” ranked second on Billboard’s comprehensive song chart, the Japan Hot 100, on November 15, 2023. On April 21, 2024, it participated in the Chengdu Strawberry. Music festival in Chengdu, China, sending many music fans into a frenzy.
IMP, who will release their first full-length album featuring songs that ranked second on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, will hold its first solo concert at Tokyo’s 15,000-seat Ariake Arena on June 13 and 14.
