SHINEE Group’s ONEW expressed his willingness to work more in the future.
According to Griffin Entertainment, fashion magazine Marie Claire went live with the digital cover with ONEW on June 10. ONEW on the digital cover of the magazine attracted attention with his sensual pose and facial expression.
Alongside the photoshoot, an interview was also organized. ONEW, who is preparing his new album, declared:
“I don’t hesitate to try this and that, and I try to broaden my horizons. If I focused on singing, I now think about how to harmonize with my voice by searching for the sound and the source adequate instrumentation.”
The announcement of a new start by Griffin Entertainment is also an extension of ONEW’s new challenge. He said: “I think I came to challenge myself to take the initiative from start to finish (album design). I wanted to find the ‘me’ without taking advantage of what was already given to me.”
In its 16th year since its debut, ONEW has become softer in everything, thanks to its accumulated experience. When asked about his musical direction, ONEW replied, “I don’t know yet,” and said, “I hope a lot of people are influenced by this. ONEW recently completed his solo fan meeting “2024 ONEW FAN MEETING” in Korea and Japan. Amid the enthusiastic response from fans around the world, ONEW will continue its fan meetings in Macau on June 23, Manila on July 4, Kaohsiung on July 13, Singapore on July 21, and Kuala Lumpur on July 27.
Before that, ONEW will appear at the music festival “Tone and Music Festival 2024” on June 15 and the MBC music show “Song Stealer” on June 16.
