SHINee’s ONEW will make his comeback on September 3.
ONEW released their promotional shot for his third mini album “FLOW” on their official social media at midnight today, announcing the news of his comeback. It’s impressive that it was produced in the form of a video as if to announce a new beginning for ONEW, and not in the form of an image like most promotional shots.
In the released video, ONEW, barefoot, takes a step forward until he comes out to the outside world. Amidst the heterogeneous scenery of the sandy beach above the hallway, the background noise is also reinforced as ONEW holds a shell to his ear. The video ends with a promotional shot appearing on ONEW’s back.
According to this, ONEW will present three versions of concept photos in turn: “Focus” on the 14th, “Spotlight serenade” on the 16th, and “Serene Repose and Lights Out” on the 19th. ONEW will then release a track list, three highlight clips, and two title song MV teasers to fill the comeback week abundantly.
It has been about a year and a half since ONEW released his first full-length album “CIRCLE” in March 2023. As the album title “FLOW” suggests, ONEW aims to make this fall ONEW’s season through this album. To this end, ONEW will open a pop-up store from September 5 to 15 and continue their solo career by holding a fan concert “2024 ONEW FAN CONCERT “HOLA!” in Korea from October 5 to 6 and in Japan from November 21 to 22.
Since debuting as SHINee in 2008, ONEW has released two mini albums, including “VOICE” and “DICE,” and a full-length album, “CIRCLE,” to develop a unique musical universe as a solo artist. ONEW recently wrapped up his solo fan meeting “2024 ONEW FANMETING “GUESS!” in seven Asian regions, and on the 15th of last month, he released his own single, “월화수목금토일,” to communicate closely with fans. Attention is focused on the story that ONEW, who boasts deeper musicality, will unveil with “FLOW.”
