SEVENTEEN member JEONGHAN has announced his enlistment in the second half of this year.
On August 12, SEVENTEEN’s agency Pledis Entertainment made a decision on the activities of SEVENTEEN members JEONGHAN and JUN in the second half of 2024 via global fan platform Weverse.
The agency stated, “JEONGHAN is expected to fulfill his military service obligations in the second half of this year. Most of the content that can be prepared in advance has been filmed, but he will not be able to participate in the activities of the 12th mini album and the schedule of ‘SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR‘ scheduled to start in October this year.“
However, since JEONGHAN’s detailed opinion on fulfilling his military service obligations is not known in detail, JEONGHAN planned to participate in the previously announced fan signing and “Lollapalooza Berlin” performances, which will be announced separately later.
Chinese member JUN has decided to do theater and other activities in China in the second half of the year. The agency stated, “Like JEONGHAN, we have finished filming the content prepared in advance, but he will not be able to participate in the “Lollapalooza Berlin” performance, the 12th mini album music release activities, and the “SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE]” world tour due to the local filming schedule,” and added, “JUN has a strong desire to participate in group activities, although he will not participate in the world tour, he will participate in the schedule to meet CARATs as much as possible.”
SEVENTEEN will hold the world tour “SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR” in five American cities and four Japanese cities in the second half of the year. SEVENTEEN will open the world tour “SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE WORLD TOUR” at Goyang Stadium on October 12 and 13.
