TOP has started to erase BIGBANG from his journey.

The group BIGBANG celebrated its 18th anniversary on August 19. G-DRAGON and TAEYANG each left a message for the celebration. G-DRAGON was congratulated by fans by tagging TAEYANG and DAESUNG respectively.
It is known that TOP, who was not invited to celebrate BIGBANG’s 18th anniversary, checked every account that tagged his account and blocked him. A BIGBANG fan said on an online community, “I was blocked with a TOP fan account and again today I was blocked because I tagged him for BIGBANG’s 18th debut anniversary.”
TOP hides BIGBANG’s traces. TOP’s profile does not include his time in BIGBANG. His debut date is not the group’s, but in 2010, his solo debut date and award-winning career were also deleted.
TOP officially announced his departure from BIGBANG in June of last year on Instagram. When a fan asked him if he had really left the group, he replied, “I already left,” adding, “I’ve already left (BIGBANG). I’ve been facing another slowdown in my life since last year.“
Additionally, TOP shared a post boasting about being “Bigbang Top” and clarified that he had left BIGBANG by marking an “X” on the part where the group’s name was written.
Due to Seungri and TOP’s withdrawal, BIGBANG seems to have celebrated its 18th anniversary as a small group of three. However, some fans are wondering if TOP, who became popular after debuting as BIGBANG, should publicly erase the group’s traces of his journey. This is a question that BIGBANG fans have expressed their unease about.
In fact, there are opinions criticizing TOP’s behavior in the entertainment-related online community.
TOP was sentenced to two years in prison in October after being convicted of inhaling cannabis while serving as a police officer (military service) in 2017. TOP, who was linked to his activities, later announced his retirement from the entertainment industry after his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired.
TOP has since backtracked and reappeared in public. He will appear as a retired idol in the Netflix drama “Squid Game Season 2.”
