SEVENTEEN wins ‘Best Group‘ at the ‘2024 MTV Video Music Awards‘.
At the prestigious ‘2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs)‘, held on September 11th at the UBS Arena in New York, K-pop group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) was awarded the title of ‘Best Group‘.
This price, previously known as ‘Group of the Year‘, has been dominated by K-pop in recent years. Global sensation BTS took home the trophy four consecutive times from 2019 to 2022, followed by girl group BLACKPINK in 2023. SEVENTEEN now continues this tradition by winning the 2024 honor.
Although the group couldn’t attend the event in person, it expressed its gratitude to its fans through social media. In a post shared on Twitter, SEVENTEEN thanked its dedicated fans, CARATs:
‘We’re so honored to win the ‘Best Group‘ award at the 2024 #VMAs. Thank you CARATs for all your great love and support.’
