YG Entertainment‘s new girl group BABYMONSTER has confirmed its first world tour since their debut, signaling a full-fledged entry into the global market.

YG Entertainment today posted on its official blog “2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR <HELLO MONSTERS> ANNOUNCEMENT“. According to the announcement, BABYMONSTER will open its world tour in Seoul in January next year, before heading to New Jersey in February and Los Angeles in March.
Although they are rookies who made their official debut less than a year ago, they are carrying out mega projects at an unprecedented pace, from releasing their first full album to organizing the world tour. This makes us realize the position and rapid growth of those who have become stronger as next-generation global acts.
Above all, BABYMONSTER is attracting attention as they will meet local fans in North America for the first time through this world tour. Their popularity is expected to grow further as they have expanded their global fan base by making their debut in the United States, one of the world’s two largest music markets.
Additionally, the poster released that day features the phrase “AND MORE” as well as Seoul and North America, raising questions about which region will be further revealed in the future. Fans around the world are paying close attention to them as they have recently been impressing with their overwhelming performance abilities on the stage of their album promotion activities, fan meeting tours, and festivals.
YG Entertainment stated, “As this is our first world tour since debut, the artists and staff are doing their utmost to show the best performance,” adding, “In addition to the released schedule, we will visit as many fans as possible, so you can look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album “DRIP,” released on the 1st, is standing out on major global charts. The album debuted on Billboard’s main chart, the Billboard 200, at number 149, and the title track “Drip” broke its own record by debuting at number 16 and number 30 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard Global 200, respectively.
