Cube Entertainment‘s boy group NOWADAYS has seen strong growth since its first week of activities.
Boy group NOWADAYS (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyun) released a new digital single “LET’S GET IT” on November 21 and began their activities with its first street performance on Red Road in Hongdae, Seoul.
Before the performance, NOWADAYS attracted attention by handing out “Let’s get it” balloons at fan events. When the street performance began, the street scene was a success with passionate performances including “Let’s get it” with over 1,000 spectators. In particular, actor Hong Seok Cheon, who appears in the music video, made a surprise appearance and donated his time to support NOWADAYS.
Since then, NOWADAYS performed “Let’s get it” on KBS2’s “Music Bank” for the first time on November 22, followed by MBC’s “Show! Music Core” and SBS’s “Inkigayo.” NOWADAYS showed off their trendy charm with an addictive chorus and colorful style, and presented a spot-on choreography that everyone can easily follow.
Immediately after its release, “Let’s get it” ranked on various major Korean online music sites, garnering a passionate response. In addition to ranking fourth on Bugs’ real-time ranking, it also ranked on various charts such as Melon and Genie, and on Genie’s popular search word ranking.
Meanwhile, NOWADAYS, who proved its exceptional abilities by receiving the “IS Rookie” award at the “2024 Korea Grand Music Awards” seven months after its debut, will continue its promotional activities for “Let’s get it” this week through music broadcasts.
