DEARALICE
SM Entertainment‘s first British boyband, DEARALICE, has teamed up with America’s hottest music label.

SM Entertainment announced on November 27 that it and North American integrated company Kakao Entertainment have signed a strategic partnership with American music label Gamma for the global debut and future activities of British girl group DEARALICE.
Through this partnership, we plan to continue cooperation on DEARALICE’s global activities, and from there, we will release the first official single worldwide at the end of this year.
Recently, SM Entertainment Global Business Director Choi Jung Min, Kakao Entertainment Co-CEO Jang Yoon Joong, SM-Kakao Entertainment North America Integrated Operations Director Kevin Nishimura, Moon & Back Media Co-Founder Russ Lindsay met with Gamma CEO Larry Jackson and UK & Europe CEO Ben Cook in Los Angeles to sign the partnership. All members of DEARALICE, including BLAISE NOON, DEXTER GREENWOOD, JAMES SHARP, OLIVER WUINN, and REESE CARTER, also attended the meeting and agreed to do their utmost to help DEARALICE grow as a global artist through this partnership.
SM Entertainment, Kakao Entertainment, and Gamma will conduct multi-directional debut promotions from the production of the first album to album release and distribution, marketing, and brand partnerships in North America, Europe, and Asia. After their debut, they will continue to collaborate from various angles to further develop DEARALICE.
Gamma is a music label and media company founded in 2023 by Larry Jackson, former creative director of Apple Music, and Ike Youssef, former CEO of Interscope. It has partnerships with global superstars such as Usher, Snoop Dogg, and hip-hop labels Death Row Records, Rick Ross, and Sexy Red.
“By partnering with SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment through DEARALICE, Gamma has had the opportunity to learn many things about Korean music and culture that it has long been interested in. Gamma, SM Entertainment, and Kakao Entertainment share ideas and build creative connections with each other, even though they come from different backgrounds. We are very happy to work with SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment, who have sincerely and carefully led the DEARALICE project. Look forward to more activities for DEARALICE in 2025.” Gamma CEO Larry Jackson said
SM Entertainment Co-CEO Jang Chul Hyuk said, “DEARALICE is one of SM Entertainment’s global IP expansion projects, and after successfully launching the team with its North American joint venture with Kakao Entertainment and British entertainment company Moon & Back Media, we are excited to form a strategic partnership with Gamma. Through partnerships with Gamma, which has exceptional global music business capabilities, we will work closely to help DEARALICE become an influential artist in the global music market as well as in North America and Europe.”
The six-part TV series “Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience,” which features the lead-up to their debut, aired on BBC One, a British public broadcaster, during primetime weekend nights, and ITV Studio received special attention for its international distribution. In particular, the soundtrack of the recently released TV series reached the top of the official soundtrack album chart in the UK in the first week of its release.
Anticipations are rising for the first official debut single that DEARALICE, which has shown explosive interest and expectations since its official debut, will meet with the Gamma label, which has excellent music know-how and a unique sense, as well as the colorful music and activities that will be presented in the future.
