LE SSERAFIM remained on the US Billboard chart for 12 consecutive weeks.
According to the latest rankings released by American music media Billboard on November 26 (local time), “Crazy”, the title track of LE SSERAFIM‘s fourth mini album, ranked 193rd on the global chart (excluding the United States). Even though the song was released about three months later, it has enjoyed steady success. The song ranked 76th on Billboard’s main song chart “Hot 100” (September 14) earlier, and stayed there for two consecutive weeks, achieving the best performance by a K-pop girl group this year.
LE SSERAFIM realizes their growing global influence. Before “Crazy”, they had back-to-back hits “Easy” and “Perfect night“. “Easy” ranked 99th on Billboard’s “Hot 100” and “Perfect night” ranked 19th on the “Bubbling Under Hot 100”, LE SSERAFIM has made a leap forward.
Thanks to their popularity, LE SSERAFIM was included in the list of finalists for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), which was announced the day before (25th). “Perfect night” is nominated in the Top Global K-pop Song category.
LE SSERAFIM also won the “PUSH Performance of the Year” category at the “2024 MTV Video Music Awards” and won the “Best Push” trophy at the 2024 MTV European Music Awards, Europe’s largest music awards.
In addition, LE SSERAFIM was the first K-pop girl group to win an international special music award at the 66th Japan Record Awards, which was astonishing by lifting the trophy at major award ceremonies in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will be invited to Fuji TV’s “2024 FNS Song Festival” in Japan on November 11 and NHK’s “75th Red and White Song Contest” on December 31. Fans are looking forward to these performances, which showcase their unique presence during the year-end awards season.
