Crossover group FORTENA returns with a new song that will showcase the essence of authentic vocal music.

FORTENA’s new digital single “Core ‘Ngrato” will be released today at 12 p.m. KST on various music sites.
The original song is an Italian song written in Neapolitan. Italian composer Salvatore Cardillo composed the music in 1911, and Neapolitan poet Riccardo Cordiferro wrote the lyrics. It tells a sad love story of turning away from a heartless person and expresses the sad and passionate feeling of someone who is betrayed by love.
It is a favorite song of many singers, and it was also performed during FORTENA’s performance. As it will be reborn and released as a four-part ensemble, it is expected to be a nice gift for fans who have been waiting for classical music since the 2023 Phantom Singer 4 program.
“Core ‘Ngrato‘” will be a special end-of-year gift for fans as it is the first new song in about nine months since the release of “Hard to say I’m sorry” in March and will be released at the end of the year.
FORTENA (Lee Dong Qyu, Austin Kim, Seo Young Taek, and Kim Sung Hyeon), who debuted as a finalist on Phantom Singer 4, is the world’s first crossover group composed of tenors. It is composed of countertenors, contraltos, leggeros, and lyric tenors, and is said to have managed to attract both legitimacy and freshness through a wide vocal range, deep expression, and unique skills.
FORTENA’s new song will be released on various music sites at 12 p.m. KST today.
