On December 27, the youngest member of the group, BAEKGYEOL, enlisted in the civil service in order to perform his compulsory military service, following in the footsteps of his former companions.

It was through a handwritten letter addressed to the Graces (the name of the fandom) that the member of GREATGUYS announced his departure to the army, leaving the group as a duo now composed of HORYEONG and DONGHWI. BAEKGYEOL will therefore join his former members, DAUN, DONGIN, UIYEON and HWALCHAN who also enlisted earlier this year, after leaving the group in February.
Despite the departure of this member, the group continues to perform in Japan at the end of the year, for a series of a few concerts. Until December 22, the group also regularly organized video calls with their fans as well as a zoom party to stay closer to their fans.
After their last comeback “CHANGE” with the title song “I love you” in June 2024, GREATGUYS has been performing live, mainly in Japan with FC live. Despite the departure of their youngest member, the group continued to perform and held their last concert for the end of the year this Sunday, December 29. Although DONGHWI and HORYEONG continue their activities on their personal TikTok accounts by organizing almost daily lives, fans are also waiting to see what will become of the group now that it is reduced to a duo.
