SHINee’s ONEW has temporarily postponed its promotion schedule to pay tribute to the victims of the Jeju air disaster.

ONEW’s agency Griffin Entertainment announced the postponement of the promotion schedule for his fourth mini album “CONNECTION” through his official stance on December 31, stating, “We express our deepest condolences and support to the victims of the accident and the bereaved families.”
According to the agency, the teaser for ONEW’s first music video, which was originally scheduled to be released on the 2nd, will be postponed to midnight KST on January 5th. The photo for the second music video was postponed to 10 p.m. KST on January 5th, and the teaser for the second music video was rescheduled to midnight KST on the 6th.
According to the National Fire Agency and other rescue authorities, Flight 7C2216 crashed while attempting to land on the runway at Muan International Airport at 9:07 a.m. on January 29, colliding with the outer wall of the runway. Out of 181 passengers (175 passengers and six crew members), 179 people were killed, except for two crew members.
Acting President and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance Choi Sang Mok declared seven days until January 4 as a period of national mourning.
