Boy group WINNER member SONG MINHO to be questioned by police
“Recently, we executed a search warrant at MINHO’s workplace and residence to secure surveillance cameras and military data. We are checking the travel time and whether he deviated from his duty,” a source from the National Police Agency said at a regular press conference on January 6.
Earlier, on December 27 last year, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul seized and searched the Mapo residents’ premises, which was SONG MINHO‘s home and workplace, and secured the video data.
In this regard, an official from the National Police Agency explained, “After the analysis, we will summon SONG MINHO for investigation.”
He began his alternative service as a social worker in March 2023 and was discharged from military service on December 23 last year. However, controversy has arisen over his poor service as reports have surfaced that he did not perform properly during his military service.
The Military Personnel Administration will have to decide whether SONG MINHO will have to serve again during the duration of the problem if the police investigation confirms that he had a problem with his service attitude.
