JEONGHAN’s solo song “Better half (feat. Omoinotake)” will be released today. It’s his special gift for fans.

“Better half (feat. Omoinotake)”, which will be released today at 6 PM KST, is a song that expresses JEONGHAN’s warm tone of wanting to pursue only “you” even though he is far away. His sincerity towards CARATs (fandom name) can be seen in the title track “나를 더 나은 사람으로 만들어주는 반쪽 (Half who makes me better)“.
The song will be released in Japanese on January 29.
“JEONGHAN’s voice matched the song much better than expected, and the sound blended beautifully. JEONGHAN sang very well in Japanese, so I was impressed once again,” said Omoinotake, who collaborated with JEONGHAN, through Pledis Entertainment.
Omoinotake is a Japanese piano trio formed in 2012 that emphasizes lyrical music. In particular, the theme song for the TBS drama “Eye love you,” released last January, “Ikuokukonen(幾億光年),” has surpassed 300 million cumulative streams according to Billboard’s count in Japan, and has gained popularity both at home and abroad, winning the “66th Outstanding Works Award” at the “Japan Record Awards.”

SEVENTEEN’s vocal team member JEONGHAN has revealed his presence with a voice that incorporates delicate emotions into each song. In addition to his unit album, he has expanded his musical spectrum by participating in various projects, including the first single album “THIS MAN” by special unit JEONGHAN X WONWOO, his self-composed solo song “Dream,” and a collaboration with Katori Singo of Japanese boy group SMAP.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN, which JEONGHAN is a member of, is on a tour of Asia with “SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN ASIA.” After a successful performance at Bulacan Philippine Sports Stadium and Singapore National Stadium, they will meet their fans at Jakarta International Stadium in Jakarta on February 8-9 and Lachamangala National Stadium in Bangkok on February 15-16.
