(G)I-DLE’s MINNIE showcased her collaboration with WayV’s TEN in a special video.
Cube Entertainment released a special music video for “Obsession (Feat. TEN of WayV)” from MINNIE’s first mini album on its official channel on January 28. The song had previously attracted attention with the collaboration between MINNIE and TEN, who are from Thailand.
MINNIE expressed the music with her entire body amidst a contrast between black and white in the video that was released. She sang face to face with WayV’s TEN, who participated as a featured artist, showing perfect teamwork. The video, which started in black and white, attracted attention with its sensual visual beauty as it transitioned to color at the climax of the song.
“Obsession (Feat. TEN of WayV)” is a disco-pop genre track with an impressive retro sound, and contains honest lyrics that express the feeling towards the other person. With MINNIE’s participation in writing and composing, the entirety was strengthened by the combination with WayV’s TEN and distinctive tones.
MINNIE released her first mini album “HER” and is working as a solo artist. She will be running a pop-up store “HERS” at Yeonnam, Space B, in Mapo-gu, Seoul until the 29th of this month.
