IU
IU has donated 100 million won (approximately €59,000) to mark Children’s Day. Once again, she practiced sharing under the name “IUaena” (a combination of IU and her fandom, UAENA), symbolizing her bond with her fans.

The total donation was split equally, with 50 million won each going to the Korea Child Welfare Association and the National Association of Community Child Centers. This contribution will be used to provide supplies and cover medical expenses for children in welfare facilities. Additionally, it is intended to fund gifts and cultural experiences for children at community centers when they celebrate their birthdays.
IU’s generosity is a consistent commitment. She continues to exert a positive influence by making regular donations under the name “IUaena” on significant dates such as her debut anniversary, her birthday, and the year-end holiday season.
At the end of last year, she also donated 200 million won. In March 2025, she contributed 200 million won to support victims of major wildfires in the Gyeongsang region and to improve working conditions and recognition for firefighters. For Children’s Day that same year, she gave 150 million won for children and adolescents, and she has consistently donated 200 million won each to vulnerable groups on both her birthday and her debut anniversary.
