JANG SEOYEON, WILLIAM FICHTNER, MIKAELA HOOVER et BM
JANG SEOYEON (Butterfly), WILLIAM FICHTNER (Mom, The Talamasca), MIKAELA HOOVER (Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3) and artist BM join the cast of season 2 of Netflix’s “Beef.”

BM is an American artist living in South Korea, best known for being a member of the K-pop co-ed group KARD, as well as a solo career alongside his group activities.
The new cast members will join previously announced CAREY MULLIGAN, OSCAR ISAAC, CHARLES MELTON, CAILEE SPAENY, YOUN YUHJUNG and SONG KANGHO.
Season 2 will focus on a young couple (played by SPAENY and MELTON) who witness an argument between their boss (ISAAC) and his wife (MULLIGAN). The argument will lead to a series of bad tricks at a country club owned by a Korean billionaire (YOUN).
Specific character details are being kept under wraps. BM is set to play a former professional tennis player who runs the country club’s tennis shop. JANG will play the billionaire owner’s personal translator. Finally, FICHTNER is said to be a wealthy member of the country club whose wife is HOOVER.
The first season of “Beef,” starring STEVEN YEUN and ALI WONG, premiered in 2023 and won numerous awards including eight Emmys, four Critics Choice Awards, three Golden Globes, two Gotham Awards and more.
The upcoming season will consist of eight 30-minute episodes with returning writer/director LEE SUNGJIN.
